Current Mood: chipper

2007 is almost over and it was a year that was very good in some ways and very bad in other ways.

Let's have the bad things over and done with: I lost my most beloved persian cat Tryggve in July. That was absolutely horrible and I still don't want to think of how he died. It's too painful and I blame myself for not taking him to the vet sooner. I've got my new wonderful persian Ingvar instead but I still miss Tryggve.
Another bad thing was all the anxiety in April and May before I knew if I was going to have a steady job or not. My bosses didn't handle that very well but at least it had a happy ending.

Good things were my new cat and that I got a steady job in the end. Going to Sectus in London is another happy memory, even though I didn't like Deathly Hallows and think it's the worst book in the series. I went to Dublin in August and that was fun too, but I would have prefered to have had a travelling companion.

That travelling companion is one of my wishes for the new year. I would like to meet somebody; a boyfriend or a really good friend, someone to do things together with. I don't know how to find that person, though.

I'm going to Accio in Oxford in July and I'm really looking forward to that. I need to work on my shyness before that so I can have even more fun than at Sectus and meet more people. Maybe that special person turns up at Accio?

A very happy new year to everyone!

My computer has started to hate LiveJournal for some reason and turns off the internet whenever I try to read or write in my journal. I've taken that as a sign that I should start posting in IsaneJournal instead, so here I am!

As you can see from my userpic, I've signed up for the Accio conference in Oxford, next summer. I'm not sure if I would have registered if the conference had been anywhere else than Oxford. I've never been there and I'm looking forward to stay in Magdalen College for a couple of nights.

Actually, I've also registered for Sectus in June 2009. I had fun at Sectus this summer and I think it's best to have as much fun in the HP fandom while it lasts. Still, it's over 18 months away. I don't know what will happen in my life during that time, but nobody knows, do they?
